A joint endeavour by International IDEA, IFES and UN-DESA to provide a globally accessible information resource on election administration. It provides user-friendly, operationally oriented information on options, detailed procedures, and the administration and cost implications associated with organising elections.

eGovernment for Development - http://www.e-devexchange.org/eGov/topic1cases.htm
This is a database of cases of e-government from around the world, collected as part of the 'e Development Exchange' project and coordinated by the University of Manchester's Institute for Development Policy and Management (IDPM) (http://www.man.ac.uk/idpm). The project is funded and managed by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) as part of DFID's 'Building Digital Opportunities' programme.

Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) - http://www.nimd.org
The NIMD was established in April 2000 by a group of Dutch political parties. Its main objective is to support the process of democratisation in young democracies by strengthening political parties. The website contains news of the organisation's activities, as well as reports from conferences and seminars concerning political parties and democratisation, such as the report of NIMD-IDEA conference "Network democracy: enhancing the role of parties".

The website contains details on their Democracy Program, in particular describing the Center's activities in strengthening democratic elections. The International Foundation for Election Systems - http://www.ifes.org/
IFES provides professional advice and technical assistance in promoting democracy. Working in over 100 countries, it lends its expertise in elections, rule of law, governance and civil society. Their website contains descriptions of the different services offered by IFES and includes information on current projects, in particular focusing on their regional activities. Details on how to access the services of the F.Clifton White Resource Center are also provided. The Center offers information and analysis necessary for organising, supporting, sustaining, and studying fair, transparent, and cost-effective elections and political processes. The publications section of the site provides direct access to IFES White Papers, project reports and their quarterly newsletter.

The National Endowment for Democracy - http://www.ned.org/
The NED was created in 1983 to strengthen democratic institutions around the world through nongovernmental efforts. Its website contains access to NED's annual reports, the Journal of Democracy, the International Forum for Democratic Studies publications, and the Journal of Democracy books. Details on how to access the services of The Democracy Resource Center (DRC) are also provided.
